Classic Superblade™
Classic SuperBlades™ Are the most cost-effective way to provide the density of SuperBlades with the high performance of a variety of processors - AMD Opteron ™ Intel Xeon™ and AMD Athlon™. Compared to other rackmount or blade solutions, Classic SuperBlades™ are lower cost and provide greater flexibility. The Classic SuperBlades™ have one PCI/PCI-X slot that can support Myrinet, Infiniband or any other high speed fabric solution. In addition, The Classic SuperBlades support one 8X AGP slot, providing an ultra-dense workstation solution. The Classic SuperBlades™ are hot-swappable and are provided their power through an internal connector. Their data is connected via 2 RJ45 connectors per SuperBlade™ to the front of the SuperBlade™ nest. The RJ45 connectors may carry either GigE or serial port data.

Classic SuperBlades™ come in the following CPU flavors: Titan64 SuperBlades™ (AMD Opteron™ servers) The Titan SuperBlade™ is our flagship series of SuperBlade™ products. These ultra-dense servers provide the highest density of 64-bit AMD64 servers in the world - 260 CPU's in one rack. Python SuperBlades (Intel Xeon™ servers) The Python SuperBlade series of ultra-dense servers are powered by Intel Xeon™ processors. With 130 nodes, 260 Xeon's in one rack, the Python SuperBlades maximize density of a tries and true Intel processors.
